21st centruy skills using Glogster
Hello everyone!
I have used Glogster several times in my biology classes. I (and the kids) enjoy displaying our work creatively, enabling us to bring alive our ideas through text, video and voice control. It provides a nice way of displaying information and is muc more intersting than a worksheet! So, for the credibility and reliability, it's all good!
Giving them the opportunity to express themselves through text, font and video really allows for ownership of their work. I do this with my Interactive Notebook. The kids 'love to hate it' in that they love the opportunity to learn this way, but it is a lot of work!
Oh well. Nothing worth having is ever easy to achieve.
Thanks for stopping by!

I have BINGO!
Hello everyone!
Here is the BINGO challenge 165 for the Magnolia Inspiration blog! I created a flip flop gift bag for this week. I really like how it turned out--I had to be a little creative with the "pins" as I had none. The 'pins' were made with blue wire and hot glue globs on top. I added glitter to the tops to add bling. I also didn't have any starfish to compliment my beach scene, so hot glue again! I pulled off my magnetic mat after it dried and added glitter, too.
The flowers were cut from my spellbinders and the flip flop is from the Pazzles. I used a transparency on the left of Tilda to add some beach grass. I wish I had a sandcastle scene! Oh well. Always something else I would love to buy!
Didn't realize when I was sizing it, but it's a full 8.5 shoe--big enough for me and my oldest daughter Emily! LOL!
Thanks for looking! Any constructive feedback that you may leave would be appreciated!
Have a great week!

Hello creative world! I have switched gears to blog my creative passions. I LOVE La La Land crafts and Magnolia, anything that can be colored with copic markers!
I am a newbie to Copics, and have learned all I know from YouTube videos. Yes, I am part of the YouTube generation.
I am a mother of two beautiful girls, ages 5 and 9. I also teach high school biology in a rural community. I am also an AVID elective teacher for a wonderful group of kids. I have been a teacher for 8 years and prior to teaching I worked at our state's animal disease diagnostic laboratory in the microbiology and virology departments
Because I am a teacher, I am always on the lookout for functional crafts--you know, those that you can decorate AND use once you are finished?
I love making minibooks and have most recently gotten into card creations. I think this is my new flavor because it's nearly instantaneous gratification--something that can be finished in a few hours. Yes, it does take me a few hours to create a card! Hopefully, my rate will increase soon.
